Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups 35% heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk (1 or 2% works fine)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons good quality cocoa powder
- 1 pinch ground himalayan sea salt
- 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 ounce good quality bittersweet chocolate, finely shaved
- 1/4 cup pecans or walnuts, finely chopped
How To Make chocolate peanut butter ice cream

Step 1In a medium saucepan over medium high-heat, combine cream, milk, sugar cocoa powder and salt. Whisk mixture until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat and whisk in peanut butter until well combined. Add vanilla extract. Transfer to the refrigerator until completely chilled.

Step 2When chilled, freeze the mixture according to the manufacturer’s instruction. 5 minutes after churning, add chocolate. Add walnuts at the end.
