This recipe came from my brother. Another version of chocolate. You can never have too much chocolate, can you?

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 - chocolate, unsweetened squares
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 - almond extract drops
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • 2 - eggs, separated

How To Make chocolate ice cream

  • Step 1
    Melt chocolate in double boiler. Add salt, milk, and sugar. Scald. Beat to blend.
  • Step 2
    Separate eggs. Pour some of chocolate mixture over beaten egg yolks. Return to double boiler and cook until slightly thickened.
  • Step 3
    Chill and add flavorings.
  • Step 4
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into chilled chocolate mixture. Add whipped cream.
  • Step 5
    Freeze in ice cream freezer according to manufacturer's instructions.
