Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons ;firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips, mini ;can also use regular
- 1 cup chopped walnuts(optional)
How To Make chocolate chip quick ice cream

Step 1In saucepan combine brown sugar and butter and bring to a boil over low heat,stirring occationally for one minute.Remove from heat.

Step 2In a blender combine eggs,vanilla and salt;cover and blend at medium speed for 30 seconds.

Step 3Gradually add brown sugar mixture and blend at high speed for one minute.Cool to room temperature.

Step 4Beat heavy cream until stiff in a seperate bowl.Fold in butter sugar mixture.

Step 5Fold in chocolate chips and nuts(if using).

Step 6Pour into foil lined 9x5x3 loaf pan and cover with foil.

Step 7Freeze until firm ; several hours or overnight. You can put into frezer container the leftover icecream.Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
