Ingredients

  • 4 cups cherries, about 1 1/2 pounds
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

How To Make cherry pops

  • Step 1
    Pit cherries and place in large bowl. Toss with sugar and let sit until cherries release their juice; about 15 minutes Puree mixture in blender or food processor until smooth and then add lime juice to taste. Pour mixture into ice pop molds and insert sticks. Freeze until firm, at least 6 hours or up to 1 week. To unmold, run hot water over outsides of the molds for a few seconds then gently pull the sticks. Makes 6 to 8 pops.
