This is an easy recipe that always seems to impress folks who don't know how easy it is!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound can pitted bing cherries
  • 3/4 cup currant jelly
  • 1/2 cup brandy, the ordinary kind
  • 1-1/2 quart vanilla ice cream

How To Make cherries jubilee

  • Step 1
    Melt currant jelly over direct heat, stirring constantly, then add cherries, partially drained, and heat slowly.
  • Step 2
    Pour brandy in to cherry mixture. When it is warm, light carefully with a match. Spoon flaming fruit over ice cream and serve immediately.
