1In a heavy 8 inch skillet combine pecans, sugar, and margarine, Stir constantly for 6-8 minutes, or until sugar melts and turns a rich brown color. ( watch carefully, it will scorch)
2Remove from heat and spread on a buttered baking sheet or foil. Separate into clusters. Cool. Break clusters into small chunks.
3Next, combine the half and half,whipping cream, brown sugar,and vanilla. Pour into a freezer container. Let set in refrigerator for 1 hour. Stir in pecans and freeze entire mixture
