I have learn to alter this recipe for any fruit, we love the raspberry and also the peach. Can it when its in season

Ingredients

  • 3 quarts water or flavor juice of what your canning
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups perma flo
  • 5 quarts smashed blueberrys
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make blueberry topping

  • Step 1
    Heat sugar, in 2 qts of juice until boiling.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, mix perma-flo and 1 qt of juice in a separate bowl.
  • Step 3
    Add perma-flo to boiled water or juice and last add 1 tsp salt and stir till the thickness you like.
  • Step 4
    Add the thickened sauce to 5 qts of smashed blueberrys.
  • Step 5
    Put into jars and cold pack them to seal, bring to boil, turn off heat and leave in hot water for 30 min. Makes 16 pints
