How to Make Blueberry Topping


  1. Heat sugar, in 2 qts of juice until boiling.
  2. Meanwhile, mix perma-flo and 1 qt of juice in a separate bowl.
  3. Add perma-flo to boiled water or juice and last add 1 tsp salt and stir till the thickness you like.
  4. Add the thickened sauce to 5 qts of smashed blueberrys.
  5. Put into jars and cold pack them to seal, bring to boil, turn off heat and leave in hot water for 30 min. Makes 16 pints
