Ingredients
- 3 - red pears, rough diced
- 3 - apples, red delicious, rough diced
- 4 cups oatmeal bread, cubed
- 1 cup quick cook oatmeal
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 1 tablespoon apple pie spice

Step 1Preheat oven at 350.

Step 2In a Pyrex square baking dish (spray with non-stick spray), first make a layer of cubed bread, sprinkle oatmeal, then mixed apples and pear, then top with more bread, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Make sure your last layer is fruit, then sprinkle with oatmeal. Press down firmly.

Step 3In a mixing bowl, whisk the rest of the ingredients. Pour over bread fruit mix. Make sure to pour over each part of the top layer.

Step 4Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Step 5Serve with your favorite ice cream. My husband likes it with Southern Pecan.
