Super simple, yet delish recipe that was passed down to me from my grandmother. Great for a spur-of-the-moment craving for something sweet or surprise house guests (because this can be whipped up in a jiff and then can bake while you're eating dinner; timing does not have to be exact!)

Ingredients For yam blueberry delight

40 oz cancanned yams, drained

1 canblueberry pie filling
-
walnuts
-
maraschino cherries
-
light brown sugar
How To Make yam blueberry delight

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Combine blueberry pie filling and yams. Place in a casserole dish.

3Cover and bake for 40-50 minutes.

4Uncover and place walnuts on top. Keep uncovered for 10 minutes longer.

5Remove from oven. Garnish with brown sugar and maraschino cherries
