This is a refreshing dessert that my family loves! I have used strawberries instead of the pineapple and added toasted pecans. Very good!

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    coarsley chopped pretzels
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 8 oz
    softened cream cheese
  • 1 can(s)
    20 oz crushed pineapple in juice drained
  • 12 oz
    cool whip

How to Make V's Fluffy Stuff

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a 9x13 baking pan, add pretzels, melted butter, and 1/2 cup of the sugar. Mix well. Bake for 7 minutes. Let cool, then scrape pretzel mixture from the pan, breaking it up into small chunks.
  2. Blend until creamy: cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar.
  3. Fold the pineapple and cool whip into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Add the pretzel mixture just before serving.
