This is a refreshing dessert that my family loves! I have used strawberries instead of the pineapple and added toasted pecans. Very good!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coarsley chopped pretzels
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 can 20 oz crushed pineapple in juice drained
  • 12 ounces cool whip

How To Make v's fluffy stuff

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a 9x13 baking pan, add pretzels, melted butter, and 1/2 cup of the sugar. Mix well. Bake for 7 minutes. Let cool, then scrape pretzel mixture from the pan, breaking it up into small chunks.
  • Step 2
    Blend until creamy: cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar.
  • Step 3
    Fold the pineapple and cool whip into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Step 4
    Add the pretzel mixture just before serving.
