I have been part of the neighborhood watch since I moved into my neighborhood. We always rotated whose house we met at, and everyone brought some type of snack...Vertrice brought this to the meeting at my house and my hubby loved it! That says a lot since he isn't often eating sweets!

Ingredients For vertrice's fruit dessert

1 cmilk

1 1/2 cflour

1 csugar

1 lgcan peach slices in water or fruit cocktail
How To Make vertrice's fruit dessert

1Butter 9x13 and combine all but fruit. Put in casserole, top with fruit. Bake at 350 degrees until browned. Cake will puff over top of fruit. Before baking, sprinkle with sugar to make brown.

2Vertrice started using peaches, but has also used fruit cocktail. She brought it with the fruit cocktail for our meeting at Christmas in 99, and that was what my hubby liked.
