I don't remember where I got this from, but they are so easy to make and the 7-up gives them a nice glaze.

Ingredients
- 1 large grannysmith apple
- 1 large can crescent dough
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup 7-up soda
How To Make the easiest apple dumplings

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Spray an 8" x8" baking dish w/ ccooking spray. Peel the apple and cut into 8-10 wedges.

Step 2separate crescent rolls into triangles. Place an apple wedge at wide part of each triangle. Roll up and pinch to seal. Place triangles in baking dish.

Step 3In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar and cinnamon, whisk to combine until thickened. Whisk in vanilla. Pour mix over dumplings. Pour soda oveer dumplings. Bake 40 mins or until golden brown.
