Tamaskans are very rare breed dogs. This cobbler comes from one of the breeders, and is just as rare because you can use any fruit. She prefers raspberries...

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • dash salt
  • 1 quart fruit, sweetened (see notes)

How To Make tamaskan cobbler, joann's

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in baking pan. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and milk. Pour batter in pan on top of butter. Cover with fruit. Do not stir. Batter will rise over the top as it cooks. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
