Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup ground bleached almonds
  • 1/2 cup dark rum
  • 12 - fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, halved
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/2 cup dark rum
  • 1 large sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar

How To Make stuffed peaches, mom

  • Step 1
    Combine powdered sugar, almonds and rum to form a paste. Fill peach halves with mixture, then put halves together to form whole peach. Melt butter in a baking dish, add stuffed peaches and sprinkle with sugar. Cover and bake at 350 degrees 15 min or until peaches are soft, but still hold their shape. Serve hot or chilled topped with a mixture of the sour cream, sugar and rum.
