    4 oz. cream cheese or mascarpone, softened
  • ·
    1 tbsp. sugar
  • ·
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ·
    1 tbsp. orange juice
  • ·
    grated orange peel
  • ·
    16 medjool dates
  • ·
    ground cinnamon or nutmeg

How to Make Stuffed Medjool Dates

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, orange juice, and grated orange peel to taste. Blend well til smooth.
  2. Cut and remove pits from dates.
  3. Spoon or pipe filling into dates. Sprinkle with a very light dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg. Makes 4 to 8 servings.
