I like to make this recipe with Wilton's sugar cookie recipe instead of the refrigerated dough,or use your favorite sugar cookie recipe.
- 18-ounce pkg refrigerated cookie dough
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, rm. temp
- 1/3 c sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- fresh strawberries,sliced
- 1/2 cup apricot jam
- 1 tablespoon water
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla spread over cookie crust. Arrange strawberries over cream cheese layer in any design you want.
In a small saucepan over very low heat, make a glaze by heating jam and water. Strain,brush glaze over fruit, refrigerate until ready to serve.
