Strawberry Graham Squares



I had no idea what to make for dessert one night and this is what came out of my pantry. You could use any canned pie filling for the topping.

    graham cracker crust
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
  • 2
  • ·
    strawberry topping

  • 1 1/4 c
    graham crackers, crushed or graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted

  • 2 c
    strawberries sliced
  • 2 c
    strawberry syrup
  • ·
    chocolate chips

How to Make Strawberry Graham Squares


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To make the Graham cracker crust - mix graham crackers, sugar & butter together;press into an 8 x 8 pan. bake 8 minutes, cool and set aside while making filling.
  2. Cream together the cream cheese & sugar; add the eggs and beat until creamy. Pour into cooled crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. After taking out of the oven, cover the top evenly with chocolate chips; let set until cool and chips are melted.
  3. Strawberry topping - slice strawberries and add to syrup in small sauce pan;add a bit of cornstarch to thicken. cook on med/low just until thick. Let cool. Spoon on the top of filling. Chill at least 1 hour.
