  • 1 pkg
    strawberry gelatin
  • 1 c
    hot water
  • 3/4 c
    cold water
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3/4 c
    frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 3 Tbsp
    dry milk powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    water, ice cold

How to Make Strawberry Bavarian


  1. Dissolve gelatin in hot water; add cold water and lemon juice. Refrigerate until mixture begins to thicken.
  2. Drain berries, reserving juice.
  3. Beat dry milk with ice cold water until it has the consistancy of whipped cream.
  4. Beat gelatin until frothy. Fold in whipped milk into gelatin; add berries carefully.
  5. Spoon into sherbet glasses. Spoon 1 tbsp. berry juice over top of each serving. Chill, if desired.
