I have made this many times. it is a quick family favorite. Never any leftovers in my house. Some times I have to make two.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar, divided
- 3 tablespoons minute tapioca
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
- 4 cups cherries, fresh or canned
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup almonds, slices
How To Make so gooie cherry cobbler

Step 1Preheat the oven to 375F. Set aside 2 tbsp.of the sugar for later. Mix the sugar & tapioca in a large sacuepan. Stir in the water & lemon juice.

Step 2bring to a boi. Then add in the cherries. Cook for 2 mins more. Stirring frequently.

Step 3pour in to a lightly greased 8 or 9 inch baking dish.

Step 4Stir baking mix again. mix the reserved sugar, cinnamon & milk in a medium bowl until mixture forms a soft dough.

Step 5Drop heaping tablespoons onto hot furit mix. Sprinkle with the almonds.

Step 6Bake 28 to 30 mins or until topping is golden brown & furit is bubbling. Cool 10 mins. Cover & refrigerate leftovers.

Step 7Special Tip: Top each serving with a good dollop for cool whip or any yogurt or vanilla ice cream.
