grannysmith apples peeled, cored, cut into 1/"-thick slices
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
3/4 c
3/4 c
packed dark brown sugar
1 tsp
1/2 c
cold butter, cut into cubes
3/4 c
chopped, toasted pecans
favorite ice cream

How to Make Slow-cooked apple-pecan crisp


  • 1Spray a 5-6 quart slow-cooker w/ cooking spray. Place apples in cooker and drizzle w/ lemon juice. Toss to coat evenly.
  • 2In bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. W/ 2 forks, mix in butter cubes to blend. Sprinkle mix over apples.
  • 3Cover, cook on high for about 3 hrs or until apples are tender. sprinkle w/ pecans and serve w/ ice cream.
