Ingredients

  • 4 c
    fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • ·
    whipped topping or vanilla ice cream

How to Make Simple Strawberry Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Spread strawberries over bottom of greased 8 or 9" square baking pan.
  2. Stir together flour, baking powder and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add egg, mix with fork until crumbly.
  4. Spread over berries.
  5. Dot with small pieces of butter.
  6. Bake at 375 for 45-50 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with whipped cream topping or ice cream.
  8. NOTE: 4 cups frozen unsweetened berry slices may be used instead of fresh.
