We have made this dish for Holidays or even during the hot summer! A very yummy refreshing dessert or even as a snack! A 'lil sweet & savory!

Ingredients

1 large lemon gelatin or 2 small
1 large can of pineapple, crushed (reserve the juice)
2 - bananas
1 cup marshmallows, mini
1/2 cup nuts(optional)
DRESSING
1 cup pineapple juice(reserved)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1/2 cup lemon juice or vinegar

How To Make savory lemon pineapple dessert

Step 1

Make Jello according to pkg. Add drained pineapple & sliced bananas over jello add marshmallows over top. Cover & refrigerate until set.

Step 2

For the dressing, in a sauce pan, add the Pineapple juice,sugar,eggs,flour & lemon juice or vinegar. Cook until thick stirring constantly. Cool completely: Add in 1c.whipped cream,mix well. Spread on to of set Jello. Garnish with Sharp Cheddar cheese! Enjoy
