We have made this dish for Holidays or even during the hot summer! A very yummy refreshing dessert or even as a snack! A 'lil sweet & savory!

Ingredients

  • 1 large
    lemon gelatin or 2 small
  • 1 large
    can of pineapple, crushed (reserve the juice)
  • 2
    bananas
  • 1 c
    marshmallows, mini
  • 1/2 c
    nuts(optional)
  • DRESSING

  • 1 c
    pineapple juice(reserved)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice or vinegar

How to Make Savory Lemon Pineapple Dessert

Step-by-Step

  1. Make Jello according to pkg. Add drained pineapple & sliced bananas over jello add marshmallows over top. Cover & refrigerate until set.
  2. For the dressing, in a sauce pan, add the Pineapple juice,sugar,eggs,flour & lemon juice or vinegar.
    Cook until thick stirring constantly.
    Cool completely: Add in 1c.whipped cream,mix well. Spread on to of set Jello. Garnish with Sharp Cheddar cheese! Enjoy
