Ingredients
- 2 pounds cooking apples, peeled and sliced (51/2)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 teaspoon each of ground nutmeg and cinnamon
- 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
How To Make roz's apple crisp

Step 1put apples in shallow greased 2 quart casseroles dish.

Step 2add water, combine sugars, nutmeg, cinnamon, and flour.

Step 3cut margarine with pastry blender.

Step 4spoon evenly over apples. cover and bake in preheated moderate oven (350) for 30 minutes.

Step 5uncover and bake for 30 minutes longer.
