Ingredients
- 1 box orzo noodles
- 2 cans chunk pineapple (save juice from both)
- 2 bottles maraschino cherries (save juice from both)
- 2 cans mandarin oranges (save juice from 1 can)
- 1 medium container of cool whip
- 1 - egg (beaten)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
How To Make rosemarina salad
-
Step 1Cook Orzo noodles top the minimum time on the box. DO NOT PASS MAX TIME. If the slightest bit under done, thats fine. While noodles cook, cut Cherries in half. When noodles finish, strain in a strainer with small holes and then rinse with cold water to stop any further cooking. Put fruit and cool orzo to large bowl
-
Step 2Add saved juice, beaten egg, sugar, and flour to a pot and heat on med-high heat, stirring constantly until it boils; then remove from heat and allow to fully cool. Once Juice mix is fully cool, add to fruit/Orzo mix and cover loosely and put in fridge for overnight so it can set.
-
Step 3Next morning pull salad out of fridge and FOLD Medium container of Cool Whip into salad and then return back to the fridge (or if its in the low 30s, then use the outdoor fridge)
-
Step 4NOTES: If you find actual rosemarina noodles, do the same as with the orzo. If you get a huge container of cherries from Sams club, then you will need 1 cup of the juice
