Ingredients

  • 3 cups rhubarb, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 pound strawberries, frozen, whole, drained, or 1 pint fresh
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all purpose sifted flour
  • 3/4 cup oats, quick or old-fashioned, uncooked
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/3 cup butter

How To Make rhubarb strawberry crisp

  • Step 1
    Combine rhubarb, strawberries and sugar.
  • Step 2
    Place in a 9 inch square baking dish.
  • Step 3
    Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter, mixing until crumbly.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle crumb mixture over rhubarb and strawberries.
  • Step 5
    Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 degrees) for about 40 minutes or until rhubarb is tender.
  • Step 6
    NOTE: If fresh strawberries are used, increase sugar to 1/2 cup.
