- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon orange rind
- 6 cups rhubarb, coarsely chopped
- 3 cups strawberries, sliced
- TOPPING INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons butter, chilled
- 1 cup buttermilk
How To Make rhubarb-strawberry cobbler

Step 1FILLING: In large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and orange rind.

Step 2Add rhubarb and strawberries; toss well.

Step 3Spread mixture in 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

Step 4Bake in 400 degree oven 10 minutes.

Step 5TOPPING: In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Step 6Using fingers or two knives, cut in butter until mixture resembles small peas.

Step 7With fork, stir in buttermilk just until soft dough forms.

Step 8Drop by tablespoonfuls in 12 mounds on top of hot fruit filling.

Step 9Bake in 400 degree oven 25 minutes or until topping is golden brown and has risen.
