Ingredients
- 3 cups rhubarb
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
How To Make rhubarb bars

Step 1Mix the cut up rhubarb, sugar and orange rind, set aside.

Step 2Sift together the flour, salt and soda. Add the oatmeal and mix well to blend.

Step 3Cream the butter and brown sugar and add the oatmeal and flour mixture.

Step 4Put half the mixture in a greased 11 x 7 pan, put the rhubarb mixture on top.

Step 5Add the rest of crumbs, press down well so the bars won\'t be too crumbly.

Step 6Bake at 400 for 35 minutes.
