This is a terrific summer time dessert because it is super light and cool! It's also a perfect dessert after a heavy meal because it is light as air! I'll post a picture as soon as I make this again!

Ingredients For raspberry trifle

  • 1 lg
    angel food cake
  • 2 box
    frozen sweetened raspberries
  • 1 lg
    tub of cool whip dessert topping
  • 1 sprig
    mint, fresh - optional garnish
  • 1 sm
    carton fresh raspberries- optional garnish

How To Make raspberry trifle

  • 1
    Defrost raspberries until thawed but still cool
  • 2
    Tear cake into large serving bowl with medium bite size pieces
  • 3
    add thawed raspberries and gently fold in
  • 4
    add 2/3 of your tub of Cool Whip and gently fold in
  • 5
    spread the remainder of the Cool Whip over the top and garnish with mint leaves and fresh raspberries!
