  • 6 c
    corn cereal - like chex
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 14 oz
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz
    seedless red raspberry preserves
  • 1 c
    flaked coconut
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans or walnuts

How to Make Raspberry Dessert Bars


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grind cereal into 2 cups of crumbs.
  3. In small bowl combine cereal crumbs and sugar; mix in butter.
  4. Line a 13x9x2 baking pan with foil and coat with pan spray.
  5. Press mixture evenly into pan.
  6. Drizzle milk over the crumbs, reserving 1/3 of the can.
  7. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  8. Spread preserves over top of condensed milk.
  9. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts.
  10. Drizzle remaining milk over top.
  11. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
  12. Cool completely and cut into 24 bars. Store bars in refrigerator.
