Ingredients For raspberry christmas braid

  • 2 c
    pkg baking mix
  • 1
    3 oz pkg lite cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    2% milk
  • cooking spray
  • 1/2 c
    smuckers raspberry preserves
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    milk

How To Make raspberry christmas braid

    Heat oven to 350. Place baking mix in a bowl. Cut in cream cheese and butter until mix is coarse crumbs. Stir in milk.

    Turn dough onto a floured surface. Knead about 10 times. Spray a lg baking sheet w/ cooking spray. Roll dough into a lg triangle. Place dough on baking sheet.

    Spread preserves down center of dough. Make 2-1/2" slits at 1" intervals on long sides of dough. Fold strips over preserves in criss-cross fashion. Bake 12-15 mins, or until light brown. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar, almond extract, vanilla and milk, mis well. Drizzle mix over braid.
