My mom got this recipe when we lived in England, we've been making this cobbler for over 35 years, since I was a little girl, so good I don't feel the need to find any other cobbler recipe. Easy too!

Ingredients

24 1/2 ounces dole sliced peaches
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter

How To Make rainy's peach cobbler

Step 1

Drain peaches,reserving syrup. Set aside.

Step 2

Melt butter in 8x8 inch dish in a 350 degree oven. Just a minute will do. Take out of oven.
Step 3

Mix flour,baking powder,sugar and milk.
Step 4

Pour batter into dish with melted butter. don't mix.
Step 5

Align peaches on batter.
Step 6

Pour reserved syrup on peaches. don't mix.
Step 7

Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy :)
