Rainy's Peach Cobbler



My mom got this recipe when we lived in England, we've been making this cobbler for over 35 years, since I was a little girl, so good I don't feel the need to find any other cobbler recipe. Easy too!

How to Make Rainy's Peach Cobbler


  1. Drain peaches,reserving syrup. Set aside.
  2. Melt butter in 8x8 inch dish in a 350 degree oven. Just a minute will do. Take out of oven.
  3. Mix flour,baking powder,sugar and milk.
  4. Pour batter into dish with melted butter. don't mix.
  5. Align peaches on batter.
  6. Pour reserved syrup on peaches. don't mix.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy :)
