Ingredients

1 c
flour
1 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
baking powder
1/2-1 stick
butter (depending on richness desired)
1 (29oz) can(s)
sliced peaches
2/3 c
juice from peaches (add water to complete measure if necessary)

How to Make Quickie Peach Cobbler from 1963

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine flour, sugar, & baking powder. Add juice from peaches & mix. Melt butter in baking dish. Pour batter into baking dish. Place peach slices over batter. Bake at 350*F for about 45 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • 2Optional**I take mine out after 30 minutes of baking time & run a stick of butter over the top a few times; then sprinkle a mixture of sugar, brown sugar, & cinnamon over the top. Place back in the oven for the remaining 15 minutes of baking time.**
