I got this recipe from a friend when I was a Pharmacy tech in Springdale Ar

Ingredients

  • 16oz can - solid packed pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 - eggs
  • 3 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 can evoperated milk
  • - yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup melted real butter

How To Make pumpkin crunch

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients except cake mix pecans and 1 cup melted butter in large bowl
  • Step 2
    pour mixture into a 9x13 baking pan.
  • Step 3
    sprinkle dry cake mix over top of pumpkin mixture, covering the entire top. Sprinkle pecans over top of dry cake mix. Drizzle 1 cup melted butter over entire top
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, check at about 45 minutes (if knife come out clean it is done) Serve warm or cold. Good with either cool whip or vanilla ice cream
