This is an old favorite of my family. It is a refreshing dessert at any time of the year, it seems to go over very well at holiday gatherings. It gives you both the salty & sweet flavor that most people crave.

Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 package cool whip
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 ounces pkge strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 20 ounces frozen strawberry sliced
How To Make pretzel salad

Step 1Mix the first 3 ingredients together and spread into a 13x10 pan. Bake at 350* for 8-10 minutes. Do not over bake.

Step 2Beat cream cheese and sugar. Fold in half of cool whip. Spread over pretzel crust.

Step 3Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. Stir until melted. When it starts to thicken,spread over cream cheese mixture.

Step 4Refridgerate until jello sets up and then add the remaining Cool Whip mixture and serve.
