This is a favorite where ever i take it and am always asked for the recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 20 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces cool whip
  • 1 quart strawberries, fresh sliced

How To Make pretzel salad

  • Step 1
    Combine pretzels, melted butter and 1/3 C Sugar. Spread on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees until golden brown about 6 minutes. Cool then break in to pieces.
  • Step 2
    Whip together the cream cheese and sugar. Add pineapple. Fold in Sliced strawberries and Cool Whip. Refrigerate. Sprinkle with pretzel mixture before serving.
  • Step 3
    You can use other fruits in place of the strawberries. I also make this with blueberries, fresh peaches or mandarin oranges.
