This is the easiest cobbler you can make in a pinch. If you have unexpected company and need a quick an easy desert.....Give this a try!!!

Ingredients

1 c
sugar
1 c
self rising flour
1 can(s)
pie filling (apple, cherry, or peach) or fresh fruit
1 stick
butter, unsalted
1 c
milk
1 tsp
vanilla extract

How to Make Poor Man's Apple Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Melt butter in a 9x13 (preferably glass) baking dish.
  • 3Mix sugar, flour, vanilla, and milk an pour into baking dish. Do not mix with butter. Just pour into the butter.
  • 4Spoon in fruit of choice in random spots.
  • 5Bake for 45 minutes. Crust will rise around apples. Serve. Enjoy!
