When a neighbor gave me a bunch of plums, and the only thing I could think of was jam, a 2nd neighbor gave me this recipe! It is so tasty and simple to make. I pretty much have to double it now, as everyone loves it. By the way, after I made this, we planted our own prune plum trees!

Ingredients

4 c
pitted, quartered, fresh prune plums
1/4 c
brown sugar
1 c
flour
1 c
sugar
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1
egg, beaten
1/4 c
melted butter

How to Make "Plum" Good Crunch

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine prepared plums and brown sugar and put mixture in greased 9 x 9 pan.
  • 2Mix flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon together. Add beaten egg to mixture and toss until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  • 3Bake at 375 degrees for 45 mins. If you double recipe cook for approx. 60 mins in a 8 x 13" pan.Great with vanilla ice cream!
