Ingredients For platanos

  • 4 lg
    ripe plantians
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    veggie oil

How To Make platanos

    Peel plantains removing all strings.
  • 2
    Slice plantains at an angle

    Heat oil on medium temp.
  • 4
    Place a single layer of plantain slices into hot oil and cook until golden brown. They will float when they are done.

    Remove from oil. Place in a strainer and sprinkle with sugar. Continue until all are cooked . Serve warm as a side dish , snack or dessert.
