  • 4 large
    ripe plantians
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    veggie oil

How to Make Platanos


  1. Peel plantains removing all strings.
  2. Slice plantains at an angle
  3. Heat oil on medium temp.
  4. Place a single layer of plantain slices into hot oil and cook until golden brown. They will float when they are done.
  5. Remove from oil. Place in a strainer and sprinkle with sugar. Continue until all are cooked . Serve warm as a side dish , snack or dessert.
