How to Make Platanos


  • 1Peel plantains removing all strings.
  • 2Slice plantains at an angle
  • 3Heat oil on medium temp.
  • 4Place a single layer of plantain slices into hot oil and cook until golden brown. They will float when they are done.
  • 5Remove from oil. Place in a strainer and sprinkle with sugar. Continue until all are cooked . Serve warm as a side dish , snack or dessert.
