How to Make Platanos
- Peel plantains removing all strings.
- Slice plantains at an angle
- Heat oil on medium temp.
- Place a single layer of plantain slices into hot oil and cook until golden brown. They will float when they are done.
- Remove from oil. Place in a strainer and sprinkle with sugar. Continue until all are cooked . Serve warm as a side dish , snack or dessert.
