How To Make pink lady® rose tarts
-
Step 1Combine dry ingredients for pastry. Cut in butter. Add enough water to make dough come together. Form into ball and let rest while making filling.
-
Step 2Thinly slice apples. (save cores & scraps to make glaze)
-
Step 3Melt & combine remaining filling ingredients. Gently stir in apple slices. Heat in microwave for 30 seconds or until pliable.
-
Step 4Butter muffin tin. Roll out pastry and cut to fit individual muffin shape.
-
Step 5Line up about 10 apple slices and roll up into a rose shape.
-
Step 6Place in tart shell & fill in any gaps with extra slices.
-
Step 7Bake at 375° for 30-35 minutes, or until crust begins to brown.
-
Step 8Combine glaze ingredients into small saucepan. Cook over low heat until juice has thickened. Remove apple scraps.
-
Step 9Brush thickened glaze over hot tarts as they come out of the oven. Allow to cool before removing from pan.
