Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked instant rice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make pineapple rice casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375^. Prepare rice according to package directions. Stir in butter. Add pineapple, brown sugar and salt; spoon into a greased shallow 1 qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
