can unsweetened pineapple, crushed and drained
medium pears, peeled, cored, diced
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp


3 Tbsp
soy or safflower margarine
2/3 c
matzo meal
1/3 c
ground walnuts
1/2 c
light brown sugar
1/2 tsp

How to Make Pineapple Crumble


  • 1Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2Combine filling ingredients in a mixing bowl and pat into a 9-inch square baking pan.
  • 3Melt margarine in a skillet and remove from heat.
  • 4Stir in the remaining topping ingredients until evenly coated with the margarine.
  • 5Sprinkle evenly over the top of the pineapple mixture.
  • 6Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
