Ingredients

  • 16 ounces can unsweetened pineapple, crushed and drained
  • 2 - medium pears, peeled, cored, diced
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • TOPPING INGREDIENTS
  • 3 tablespoons soy or safflower margarine
  • 2/3 cup matzo meal
  • 1/3 cup ground walnuts
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make pineapple crumble

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    Combine filling ingredients in a mixing bowl and pat into a 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Step 3
    Melt margarine in a skillet and remove from heat.
  • Step 4
    Stir in the remaining topping ingredients until evenly coated with the margarine.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle evenly over the top of the pineapple mixture.
  • Step 6
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
