pear dumplings
I love these dumplings with morning coffee. My neighbor brought these to our house when I was not feeling well. I did eat these and thought that they were so good. She brought apple dumplings but I had so many pears I decided that I would change the recipe and substitute pears instead.

Ingredients
- 2 packages crescent rolls
- 2 - pears, granny smith apples
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 12 oz cans mountain dew
How To Make pear dumplings

Step 1Cut, core and cut pears or apples in to 8 pieces. Roll one apple or pear slice in each crescent roll. Place in 9 x 13 pan. Mix Margarine or butter with sugar in saucepan till melted. Add Mountain Dew. Pour over dumplings. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes.

Step 2I had a little bit of Pampered Chef cinnimon and sugar in the pantry so I sprinkled that on top of these.
