I remember my dad made this for us on Sunday's and he still does sometimes it's one of the best dishes he can make.

Ingredients

  • 4
    fresh pears, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon, divided
  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    finely chopped nuts

How to Make Pear Crumble

Step-by-Step

  1. Place pear slices in the bottom of a lightly greased 8 inch square pan.
  2. Combine 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over pears.
  3. Combine flour, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, sugar and salt. Cut in butter and add nuts. Mixture will be crumbly.
  4. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30-35 minutes until pears are tender.
  5. Serve slightly warm with ice cream or chilled. Refrigerate leftovers.
