I remember my dad made this for us on Sunday's and he still does sometimes it's one of the best dishes he can make.

fresh pears, peeled, cored and sliced
2 Tbsp
1/2 tsp
cinnamon, divided
3/4 c
1/3 c
1/4 tsp
1/4 c
1/4 c
finely chopped nuts

How to Make Pear Crumble


  • 1Place pear slices in the bottom of a lightly greased 8 inch square pan.
  • 2Combine 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over pears.
  • 3Combine flour, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, sugar and salt. Cut in butter and add nuts. Mixture will be crumbly.
  • 4Bake uncovered at 350 for 30-35 minutes until pears are tender.
  • 5Serve slightly warm with ice cream or chilled. Refrigerate leftovers.
