Mom canned bushels of peaches every year. When we had fresh peaches she always made this dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 - pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 - egg
  • 6 - peeled, sliced peaches
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • - cinnamon

How To Make peach crisp - mom's recipe

  • Step 1
    Butter an 8 inch square pan. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly. Place sliced peaches in pan. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over peaches. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
