Mom canned bushels of peaches every year. When we had fresh peaches she always made this dessert.

1/2 c
sugar

baking powder

peeled, sliced peaches
1/2 c
melted butter
cinnamon

How to Make Peach Crisp - Mom's Recipe

Step-by-Step

  • 1Butter an 8 inch square pan. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly. Place sliced peaches in pan. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over peaches. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
