peach cobbler
Think this recipe came from my grandma, my mom and I have been making it for years. My mom has a peach tree in her yard and we have lots of fun picking peaches, freezing them and of course, making lots of peach cobblers! Family favorite!

Ingredients
- 5 cups sliced, peeled, peaches ( about 3 lbs)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- BATTER
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 - egg, slightly beaten
How To Make peach cobbler

Step 1Make filling: In medium bowl, combine peaches, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tbsp. of flour, lemon juice, vanilla and almond extracts, cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup of water. Turn into 13 by 9 baking dish. Dot with 2 tbsp. of butter.

Step 2In medium bowl, combine all batter ingredients; beat with wooden spoon until smooth. Drop in 6 portions over filling, spacing evenly, batter will spread during baking.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees, for 35 to 40 minutes of until peaches are tender and crust is golden. Can be served warm with vanilla ice cream.
