Peach Cobbler

This is the easiest cobbler ever! The original recipe calls for only milk and white sugar. I decided to use some of the peach juice and brown sugar. It works well together!

  • 1 can(s)
    sliced peaches, 29 oz, in heavy syrup; drained but reserve liquid
  • 2 c
    biscuit mix (i use bisquick)
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    reserved peach juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 c
    butter, melted
  • 1-1/2 c
    brown sugar, not packed

How to Make Peach Cobbler


  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
    Drain peaches, reserving liquid. Mix with brown sugar and set aside.
  2. Mix together biscuit mix, nutmeg, milk and peach juice. Add in melted butter until combined.
  3. Pour into 9x13" baking dish. No need to butter dish.
    Spoon peach mixture over batter.
  4. Bake @ 375° for 45-50 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or, even better, ice cream.
