peach cobbler
This is the easiest cobbler ever! The original recipe calls for only milk and white sugar. I decided to use some of the peach juice and brown sugar. It works well together!

Ingredients
- 1 can sliced peaches, 29 oz, in heavy syrup; drained but reserve liquid
- 2 cups biscuit mix (i use bisquick)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup reserved peach juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1-1/2 cup brown sugar, not packed
How To Make peach cobbler

Step 1Preheat oven to 375°. Drain peaches, reserving liquid. Mix with brown sugar and set aside.

Step 2Mix together biscuit mix, nutmeg, milk and peach juice. Add in melted butter until combined.

Step 3Pour into 9x13" baking dish. No need to butter dish. Spoon peach mixture over batter.

Step 4Bake @ 375° for 45-50 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or, even better, ice cream.
