This is my Moms recipe.Everyone loved it.We lost her March 2010.So grateful she had wrote down some of them.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, cold
  • 4 large fresh peaches sliced/or bag of frozen
  • 1 cup sugar/ can use less
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1 cup water

How To Make peach cobbler

  • Step 1
    Slice butter and spread on bottom 8X8 baking dish.Then I lined up the slices.
  • Step 2
    Peel and clean fresh peaches and slice into quarters.Pour over butter.
  • Step 3
    Mix sugar,flour and water by hand real good.Pour over peaches. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour or til it is golden brown. Best served with vanilla ice cream...Yum Yum!!!
