I truly enjoy Cooking/Baking. Recently I've starting watching You tube for great recipe's and love watching "Paula Deen" eminencely... She has wonderful home cooked recipe's and she's entertaining.. Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups self- rising flour
  • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar, divided
  • 4 cups peeled, sliced peaches
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • pinch - cinnamon, ground

How To Make "peach cobbler" by paula deen

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven at 350.
  • Step 2
    Add 4 cups of peaches; 1/2 cup water; 1 cup sugar and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Combined 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour; 1 cup sugar wisk well together; Add 1 1/2 cups milk mix well.
  • Step 4
    Use 9X9 "3 deep oven dish; add 1 stick butter place in oven to melt butter.
  • Step 5
    Pour batter into 9X9 "3 dish; gently layer peaches on top of batter; add remaining peach juice if you enjoy a juicy cobbler.
  • Step 6
    Sprinkle cinnamon over peaches if desire.
  • Step 7
    Place dish on a cookie sheet and in the center of your oven; Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 8
    Serve with vanilla ice cream...enjoy
