peach blueberry easy cobbler

I love cobblers and the peach blueberry combination is perfect.When I make this it is a big hit especially with my fam. It goes together fast and easy and always comes out perfect. Use butter and not margarine for the most delicious flavor. Delicious served with ice cream or whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter (not margarine)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar divided or... 3/4 c splenda and 3/4 c sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups 1/2 blueberries frozen or fresh and 1/2 canned peach slices drained and cut in chunks
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

How To Make peach blueberry easy cobbler

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in 9 X 13 baking pan. Combine and mix well all dry ingredients except one cup of sugar; add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter over butter in baking pan (DO NOT STIR).
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle lemon juice and remaining 1 cup sugar on fruit and toss. Add to batter evenly in pan . DO NOT STIR.
  • Step 3
    Bake in preheated 375 deg oven 45 min until nice and brown.
