peach-a-berry cobbler
Peach and Blueberries ! Nice new treat to try ! You could mix a different fruit in of course, like sneak a few cranberries in. I used less sugar than called for and made it in an 8 inch deep glass pie plate. Originally required this recipe from the Wellfleet Audubon Cookbook several years ago.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 cups sliced fresh peaches, mixed with 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- CRUST:
- 1 cup sifted all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine
- NUTMEG TOPPING:
- 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR MIXED WITH 1/4 TEASPOON NUTMEG
How To Make peach-a-berry cobbler

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Mix first three ingredients; add fruits. Cook and stir until mixture thickens. Add butter and lemon juice. Pour into 9 X 13 inch baking pan.

Step 2Crust: Sift together dry ingredients. Add milk and butter all at once. Beat til smooth. Spread over fruit. Sprinkle with Nutmeg Topper.

Step 3Bake cobbler in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until done. Serve with cream or ice cream.
